Video Transitions
Here is a basic tutorial about creating video transitions. Stay tuned for a discussion about when to use a certain type of transition. General rule: use a simple cut, unless you have a specific reason for a different kind of transition (other than "It's neat-o!").

Creative Commons
Use Creative Commons (http://search.creativecommons.org/) to locate copyright-friendly images. Be sure to check the license to make sure you have permission to re-publish.
Usually, you can cite your images this way:
Artist/Photographer. Name of photo. Year taken. Photograph. Name of website where published. Name of sponsoring organization. Date posted to the web. Date you accessed photo.URL of photo.
