John's Group Block 2 Cyberbullying Rough Draft

  1. What we liked best about your video was the beginning and the ending. We thought all the phones in the beginning was effective because it shows that it happens everyday, and it can happen to everyone. What we liked about the ending was that it was dramatic. As the person was walking it helped us think about what was being said. One thing we think could be fixed is the length of Mr. Vela's title. We thought it was a bit fast, and maybe you could extend the time of the title.

GROUP 15, you guys had a pretty well produced video one thing that was well done was when you guys filmed all the different types of phones in the beginning of the video to introduce was cyberbullying really is it was very catchy and caught everyones eyes. One minor thing you guys did was when jacob was looking at his phone then smiled, i really didnt understand what happened. Another thing was when jacob was talking it had a very rough sound to it and he kind of studderd. Overall this video was well dont, One thing that really caught my eye was the ending when michael was walking in the hall showing that he is walking away from cyberbullying.

  3. What I liked best about your video was the part where Mr. Vela was talking and he was also walking the student to the office. It added sort of a comedic relief. I also liked the intro because it gave the audience something to relate to right at the beginning because we all have cell phones. Another thing that i like about your video was person walking in the hallway while information was being given. It made it very dramatic and to me it seemed like the person was "walking away" from cyberbullying. The way the light hit the hall way made it perfect for you were trying to show. Mr. Vela's interview was also very good because it shows that the school cares and what they will do if you are ever being cyberbullied.

  4. we liked how you had the interview with mr.vela and then transitioned to him actually taking someone into the office. we also really loved the hallway shot because it gave us a sense of someone walking away from cyberbullying. the "stop, block, and tell" at the ending was really cool and was a really good ending.- ximena and ashley :3

  5. What we liked best about your video was how Mr. Vela was talking about something and the video cut out to show what he was talking about. We thought it was effective because it gave the audience a visual about what was happening. It didn't leave any gray areas for interpretation. It was very "black and white". It made everything stand out and seem more serious. Your video was the most professional out of everybody's with the music and the showing of all the diffrent types of phones that most people have and use to text. All in all your video was the bestest.

  6. What we enjoyed most about your video was the ending because it can symbolize many different things like walking away from cyberbullying, or how cyberbullying will cause a negative effect on a person so they end up leaving life. The opening scene was effective relating to the auedience because everone has a phone which leads to cyberbullying. During Mr. Vela's interview it was very eye catching to see other visuals like bringing someone to the office. I think your sound was effective because it didn't distract the viewers. Overall your video was short and to the point, it shouldn't be changed.-Zoie & Kenzie

  7. What we liked best about your video was the lighting and the organization of the editing. A sepcific example is when the guy with his hood on was walking in with Mr. Vela into the office. We felt that it demonstrated a live situation. We though this was effective because it made the overall video a good resourse for people who are being cyberbullied. We thought you should lengthen the time when you showed a text message before the two guys left.
Over all we thought it was AWESOME!!!!!!:)

  8. What we liked best about your video was the end, while the student was walking through the hallway, as if he was walking away from cyberbullying. The opening scene was really catching to teenagers, because we all have cell phones, and we all understand what was happening. We also liked how you transitioned from showing the phones to defining cyberbullying. We thought this was effective because it really captures the audiences' attention. We all focused on the point, which was what cyberbullying is and how to stop it. There wasn't anything that took our focus away. The audio was good, and there's not anything we think you should change about it. We enjoyed your effects, and the video really transitioned well. We liked Vela's interview, and that during such interview you showed an example of how the school can help you in the case of cyberbullying. We thought your credits and titles were fine. Good Job,

  9. What we liked most about the video was the end scene with Michael walking out of the hallway as the stop, block and tell info was being told. We thought this was effective because it made us believe he was a victim of cyberbullying who wanted to make a change about it. The opening scene hooked in the audiance because everyone is familiar with phones so it grabbed everyones attention instead of just a few. We think that if yall would have added some soft harmonies or a soft stringed instrument as background music to the stop, block and tell scene, it would have emphasized the fact that stopping cyberbullying is a major goal for the future. The way you put the titles were good we liked the way the format was on Mr. Vellas name.
    Love always,

  10. What we like about your video was how the editing worked with the music and fit the setting. We thought this was effective becausew it hooked in our attention. With the conclusion, the walking thing was a good idea but it kind of dragged on.

  11. What we liked best about your video was the editing of the clips. The people that were interviewed were mixed and not from our class. The audio was good.
but it needed improvement because some parts of the clips you did not hear any sound but only the interviewer. It gave me the mood to understand how cyberbullying could effect someone in so many ways. WE especially liked the part where it a person was walking through the hallway showing him that how cyberbyllying makes you feel. What needs to be worked upon was they needed to show more people to tell their stories about cyberbullying.
